CloudBuilt review

Hello friendly! Remember those distant times when the grass was greener, the sun is brighter, and the games are more interesting? Since then, the grass has been eagerly, the sun has been covered with smoke of factory pipes, and the games were proved. It is unprofitable for the titans of industry to produce games that can cause difficulties in passing, this could be pushed out the audience.
So it was about a couple of years ago, while the success of such projects as Dark Souls and Dayz provoked a wave of popularity of hard-kora. And the hard-kor, before that present only in a small number of indie projects, began to bring down almost from everywhere (but mainly, still in Indi). What am I about all this? It was just that you could say that the game that you are reading now stands out against the backdrop of all the rest of your hard-root, but now these words are no longer relevant.

Well, that’s enough with entry, it’s time to get to the matter. Today we will consider the debut project of the Swedish studio Coilworks – CloudBuilt. Developers characterize their brainchild as a cross between Mirror’s Edge and Borderlands. Parkur in a stylish wrapping. In fact, this is rather a mixture of Sonic and Boardlands. But about everything in order.

Let’s start with the part that Sonic. Play is a pack of levels, each of which has a variety of obstacles-spikes, mines, turrets, droids-kamikadze and many more interesting. The game constantly throws up new ways to kill the main character, but she is not a basting, well, owning a gun (small AIM), is able to shoot back from most enemies. In addition to a pistol, it has a reactive satchel, giving its majority of Sonic’s techniques – a double jump, acceleration on the run, acceleration in flight, clinging to the walls and running along them. The purpose of each level is the same as the Sonic is to run to the end of the level as quickly as possible, but if in Sonic five minutes it is enough to get an assessment of “A” for the level, then here, with rare exceptions, give less than a minute.

It seems to me such a graphics, I call it Borkerland, although it was still a hundred games before, they screw it up when laziness is normal to do.

You can compare this game with the first borderlands relying https://independentcasinosites.co.uk/review/golden-genie/ not only on the graphic style. These games have a general drawback – the discrepancy between the gameplay and the plot. Remember how, after another crazy massacre, they rubbed us about the heavy hardships of geologists who studied the planet? So, after a high-speed race, you will be rubbed about the heavy life of the girls-sulfate girls. In the same Sonic, the plot could be mulled (jumping in time, a sea of extra characters, parallel universes, and other crap) but not straining, no one tried to squeeze the drama from scratch. And in CloudBuilt you are thrown from the first steps of the type – “mental integration caused by the reparation of your nervous system” and, full of sadness, monologues about all the hardships of the war. The same also applies to the pictures in general, the developers are trying to catch up with gloomy and hopelessness – all levels are ruins the remaining in zero gravity after the explosion, from which the main character was damaged, but with the “brinatium graphics” it is difficult to achieve the desired result, especially when everything begins to be decorated with neon shots, explosions and flames from the satchel.

Let the Swedes do not work out with the plot, but they got excellent levels that have many, sometimes not obvious, ways, running at high speeds, high -speed shootings and just a peppy game. The world had this to taste.

Yes, and to me, too, I don’t remember the good speed running around from the time of SuperMetboy. Although in comparison with the same SMB, the game is too short for its 419r.

It doesn’t matter where you are: in the city of gods, on the bell tower, or even in the cave, I will always be happy to help.

I do not think that using the SG assessment system is a good idea. You always have to be original, do everything somehow in your own way, but so-copy-I do not think that this successful idea.

And so the review is not bad (not counting the criminal small number of punctuation marks, although I say this to almost everyone). Only too short and obvious. I think a separate post for such games is too much. Now, if you roll a post with a bunch of such “mini-views”, then okay.

Only when you start to measure games on such a system, you understand how hard it is with it, most likely I will refuse it

Eh, okay, I will reveal my secret methodology for evaluating games-two grades-“I liked” or “I didn’t like”, and a little below-a brief verdict description of the game.
