Cloud Atlas. Review. [Upd]

Well, to say that I was waiting for a “cloud atlas” is to say nothing. Although how to say … I was waiting for him very much, but not the way, perhaps, many people thought now. I did not hunt for the grains of information about this project, I did not sleep at night when trailers came out, I did not revise all the fragments issued (I did not look at all). I just waited. And sometimes he reviewed the five -minute trailer, because from there it blows a pleasant atmosphere of good cinema.

I woke up interest in the project when I found out that they would shoot it Brothers Vachovski family in tandem with Tom Teakver. Nuu, that is, the first comrades interested me, I still do not know about the pumpkin. Then there were funny photos from the filming, then the trailer appeared magical beauty, then there was a couple of intriguing interviews, and now the film came out.

Well, what kind of “cloud atlas” is https://betswaggercasino.co.uk/ this? To begin with, it seems to be a film adaptation of some sensational book of the same name. I did not read it, therefore the tone is so slightly and abrasive, because in recent years all these pseudo-philosophical literary bestsellers are all on one person. Well, okay.
There is a book 6 various plot lines that are mysteriously intertwined in one single narrative. By themselves, these mini-jets are not that somehow brilliant or outstanding reduced meanings contain or something like that. Stretch out any of them for an hour and a half by pouring unnecessary water-it will turn out … you get a political thriller, a post-apocalyptic something there, a sea there is something there, scientific and fantastic action, drama and comedy. And nothing outstanding male will be found anywhere.
However (I do not know how this is done in the book) When they are all reduced under the same roof in the film, then everything becomes much more interesting. And since I began to crucify about the plots here, then regarding the script and I will say: each story itself is simple, but when 6 they are told at the same time, you have to focus, because otherwise you will stupidly begin to lose the thread of what is happening. The joke is that the jumps between stories occur at the most unexpected moments, as a result, the script is fed by not even pieces, but with a vinaigrette. At one time I liked the manner of Chuck Palanika wildly to tear his storyline and tell it not in the order of the calendar origin of events, but in an absolutely accidental sequence. Or here in the “Guardians”, it is the comic book that is not the movie. There, too, by and large, too, after all, there are two storylines that are constantly pouring into another.
The second dog buried in the “good” local script is the interconnectedness of stories. The hero of one of them may be inspired by what the hero of the previous one wrote, or even worship him/her. This connection floats in different ways, but is present without fail.
And when you begin to think about it, you understand that it is really cool and right. In the sense that in one film we are shown a chain of events with a total length of hundreds of years and all of them are interconnected. And in this regard, I cannot resist and not quote the film itself (not literally, but the essence is):

A: … whatever you do – it’s just a drop in the ocean!
B: But what is the ocean, if not a great many drops?

So this is Cho, dofiga inspired philosophical crap for 100 lemons of bucks? No. Cinema has never been “festival”, when out of two hours of total duration, one and a half takes a spiritualized shooting of a sheet of toilet paper through a landfill. “Cloud Atlas” – in no way and is not trying to be like that. But he is not a typical Hollywood bravado with special effects and pathos speeches. There are extremely few explosions, chases and action here, although what is is done at an excellent level.

The joke of Atlas is that he is about obvious things. The main motto of all its scenario components is one simple verb of the imperative mood: “act”. If you expand a little, then: “Life is one. So act and do not be afraid to get lost in the ocean of drops, because a drop is better than nothing. This is better than leaving and not leaving a trace. “.
Well, there probably will be something else for himself for himself. Many people argue that, they say, a film about reincarnation, but I will refrain from this for now, because there is no direct rebirth of the characters here, and to dig deeper – for this it is necessary to reconsider at least again.
What did you make about the plot? You’re talking about special effects, about actors, about music in the end! Okayok. Just if I have a lot to say about the plot, then about actors, special effects and music I don’t have much to say something. Unless more about the joke with the fact that the same actors are mainly involved in different “plots”, as a result of which the villain in one mini-scenario can be a good thing in another, and in the third there will be a small small bipod with one or a couple of replicas. Most of all on the screen glow Tom Hanks And Holly Barry. They, together with Hugo Wirling, present in my opinion in general in all six stories. In any case, all the actors are well done.
It is worth noting here, by the way, what’s the point. Plots are plots, but the stories also have different topics and atmosphere. The adventures of a dumb lawyer who floating home is one mood. The story of the pianist (Robert Froobisher, if I do not confuse anything) – this is a different mood, other colors, other tones. And so – with every story, all different.
Therefore, the actors had to not only reincarnate, but somehow change the game itself. It turned out? I repeat – it turned out.
I will especially highlight three:

Ben Willishu

He hooked it straight. I don’t know what exactly, but hooked. This is the role of Robert Frobisher exactly.
