革質も柔らかく、かなり履きやすいです

ブランド名は北部の靴屋という意味で、デザイナーである、ステファン サフィルがロンドンに移住して8年経った今も、出身地ロザラム(イギリス北部、南ヨークシャー州の小さな町)を自分の町として誇りに思っていることから、自身のことを北部の靴屋と呼んでいたことに由来しています。

ブランドロゴの魚はシーバスで、デザイナーが少年時代から、リラックス法の一つとして続けている釣りと友人から冗談が通じないという理由で、シーバスというあだ名で呼ばれていたことからシーバスを自分自身のように感じるようになったことからロゴに取り入れ、ハットと片メガネは、英国クラシックスタイルへの愛を表現したものです。

その二つを組み合わせた結果、ブランドのコンセプトである、`Traditional with a side order of wit" 伝統に機知を添えて を表すものになりました。

2011 年春夏コレクションでデビューし、イギリス靴協会主催のデザインアワードでデザイン賞を受賞したデザイン性の高さと、ポルトガルの工場で職人たちのてで一つ一つ丁寧に生産されている手作りテイストとヴィンテージ加工が魅力です。
