コレクション目的で購入した物ですので、購入時に検品を兼ねて一度軽く目を通したのみで、読んだり何度も開いたり閉じたりはしておりません。
暗所にて保管しておりました。
写真撮影もコットングローブを身に付けて致しております。

10枚目画像の通り、購入時よりケースの貼り合わせている箇所は少し地の色が見えているような感じでした。
ケースの天と地どちらも同様の状態です。

出品にあたり詳細を調べてみましたが、1000部しか発行されていない初版本のようです。
海外のトールキン関連商品の専門ショップさんで高額でお取り引きされているようです。
映画ロード・オブ・ザ・リングとホビットの冒険
を経て、更なる映画化が決定したとのことですので、シルマリルの物語を含む関連作品の需要も今後更に高まりそうですね。

状態の良いうちに愛好家の方にお譲りできたらと思います。
